I made the front page of our local newspaper

Every year I take a vacation to work at our local East Texas fair. I  have worked in the Sweet tooth  booth for the past three years and every year we come up with wild and crazy food. This year it was CHOCOLATE COVERED BACON. Too funny but believe it or not people eat it. It has a really good flavor if you can get past the chocolate...........it tastes like chicken!

I won some blog candy!

WOOT, WOOT! I won some blog candy from I LOVE REALLY REASONALBE RIBBON. The ribbon they sent me is fantastic! I can't believe I won. I used some of the ribbon on my Halloween paperbag mini book. You should all go check out their blog. They have some wonderful ribbon there. Thanks ladies for my prize. Aren't they just yummy? I won more but my battery died on my laptop where my pics are.

Scal cut

I have really been intimated by the SCALbut the other day I decided that the SCAL would not get the best of me so I traced an image and used ACY cart and this is what I came up with. I plan on giving this to my mom since we all hang around the house during the holidays. I found the plate at $tree. The best store ever! I cut the words at 6" and the shape at 4". TFL!

Kim's baseball boy

A co-workers son needed a tag for school so he could hang all his artwork from it at school so she knew I had a cricut so she asked me to make her one and this is what I came up with. I cut him out at 10 inches using EDPD. His school colors are blue and red and they are called the Panthers. Her son as well as the teacher loved it. Her son calls me "The expert" now. I love doing stuff like this for the kids cause the enjoy it the most. I was happy that he has the best clip in the whole class. TFL! I don't know why they always turn sideways when I post these. Maybe my friend Pam will figure this out for me. (hint, hint)

Halloween Mini Book

I decided to venture out and try to make a paper bag mini book. I used 8 lunch bags and covered them and inserted tags and made little pockets. I have not finished it but I thought you would like to see my book in the making. This was a pretty easy book to.....it's the decorating that gets me. Once again I used K&Company paper pack. I covered 6 x8 pieces of chipboard for the cover and the back and punched two holes in it for the binding because I didn't have one inch binders for my bind it all. But after I punched the holes in there guess what I found at HL....yep one inch binders. Man I was mad because I really wanted to bind it. Oh well. I will show the finished product after I get through with our 10 day show at the fair. Tired just thinking about working. Thanks for looking.

Fall card swap

I know that we should be getting our swaps soon so I can post these now. I used all close to my heart products for our swaps. I think they came out pretty good. Thanks for looking

Happy Hauntings

I made this card using the Happy Hauntings cricut cartridge. I used K& COMPANY paper and added bling. TFL!

Treat bags for grandkids

I made 75 treat bags for my grandson's to hand out at school. This was very easy to make just cut and fold. I am so sorry but I left my book at home so I can't give credit to the correct person who designed this first. I used K & C paper from Micheal's bought at half price and it is double side and very sturdy. TFL!

MIA

Sorry that I have not posted in a while. I have been very busy but I have taken quite a few photos of projects that I have done. I have even gotten a start on my Halloween projects for my three grandsons that are in school this year. This means I have to make 75 treat bags for them to hand out at school not counting the other 100 bags I have to make to for my friends at work. I was also involved in a card swap and that was 52 cards. Boy the things I like getting myself into.......I will never learn! I love crafting and I love sharing so be patient with me I have some cool things to show everyone if only I would stay off the internet and post what I have made. Everyone have a safe and fun weekend. I am off to work in Caldwell, Texas at a Polka Festival. Last week we were in Brady at a Goat Festival. All my weekends are booked up from here until Thanksgiving but hey it is extra cash for me to play with. My goal is to save enough moola to buy an IPad or the Cricut Imagine.....not that I need either one of them.......Peace!
Terry.
