Ranger ring day

Adam and I are bigTexas Ranger fans and we went to the game where they were giving out replica championship rings. They were actually pretty nice. This is what the looked like. Of course after the game people were selling them on Ebay. I will keep mine forever and ever. Go Rangers!

Boy Scout celebration

A co-worker asked if I could make her some decorations for the stage of the boyscout passing over celebration. She wanted some bags with openings in them so they could put candles in them for the crossing over ceremony. This is what I came up with. TFL!

Easter treats 2011 for grandsons

I made 65 of these treats for my grandsons to hand out at school. I used the sizzix die called the pillowbox for all the boxes and I cut the bunny out of Kate's ABC'S. I then tied them with pink toole. Thanks to Wanda for helping me cut the ribbon at Pam's house. It made a big differance in time. Of course the boys loved them and so did their classmates. I used all CTMH products except for the ribbon. TFL!

Shoebox Creations

This is the card I made for the April shoebox swap. Unfortunetly I was not able to attend. I hope that the Lovely ladies liked my card. I used all CTMH products. TFL!

Welcome sign

I was surfing the web a while back and saw this posted. I am so sorry because I cannot find that blog to give proper credit. Anyway this was made using a branch that fell from my pecan tree in the front yard. I cut the tags using a sizzix die cut. I used a punch for the flowers and basecamp cricut cart for the word welcome. I used assorted papers and inked the edges. My mom loved it and it is still hanging in the TV room. TFL!

Boxes for Glinda

A lady  at work asked me to make these for her church ladies for Easter and this is what I came up with. I used the sizzix die cut box for the cuts and used a stampset I found at Michaels. TFL!

Look what I made with my SCAL

I have been wanting to make some paper cones for the longest so I used my trusty SCAL and welded some triangles and circles and a trapazoid together and this is what I got. I am so proud of myself for doing this all on my own without help from Pam Thorn the queen of SCAL. This ended up being 7 inches long and you can fill it with lots of goodies.  I used CTHM textured paper and used an EKSuccess border punch for the edge. I kept rolling the punched paper in my hands to break up the fibers and then I wet the paper to soften it up and then I glued it to the edge. Wetting it makes it look like fabric when it dries and it is easier to manipulate in a curved position. I used brown bag ink to ink all the edges and I used the stamp set D1361 Thank you. TFL!

Business card holder

I found this cute tute on this website http://www.paperboutique.blogspot.com/ . This is a business card holder using the CTHM Sophia paperpack. This is made with a 4x6 3/4 pc of paper. She used matte finish mod podge to make the paper shinny. I could not find mine so I just lined it with some clear contact paper. You will also need 2 2x3 pcs of paper accordian folded every 1/2 inch. Round the corners at the top and attach the small pieces of paper on the bottom and just fold the top over attach with a magnet or velcro and you have a cute little business card holder. TFL!

I made this mini book for my grandaughter Emma. I found this tutorial on http://www.paperphenonemon.blogspot.com/ . I have made three of her books. She uses paper bags for the pages. This book has lots of room for pictures and for journaling. Guess what I used CTHM Sophia paperpack again. This pack is so pretty. TFL!

Every night before I go to bed I love to surf the web. I have seen many ladies making mini books and I have made a few and just absolutly love making them.  This one I made from a tutorial from Kathy Orta at Paper Phenonemon. She totally awesome...check her out at http://www.paperphenonemon.blogspot.com/ . I used CTMH  Sophia paperpack for this mini. It only takes one 8x11 1/2 sheet of paper and the size ends up being 4 x 3 1/2

Minnie Invitations

I was asked to make 50 birthday invitations and before I realized what I was saying I said "YES". Well thanks to the best SCAL user in the world Pam Thorn she helped me make the design using the SCAL. I cut these all out in one day and then assembled them in one night. In this photo I did not add the white dots to the bow but the finished product had them. The lady I made them for loved them. I couldn't have done this without the help from Pam. TFL!

CRICUT TABLE DECORATIONS

This is what I made for my table decoration for the Texas Stampede held in Frisco. The smaller cards were my calling cards with my info on the back of them. I received many awesome cards during the swapping. I made this using the Life's a Beach cart and all CTMH paper. TFL!
