February Use your Stash Bloghop

Boy do I have all kinds of stash throughout my apartment.....yarn, ribbon, mesh for wreaths, fabric, bling, ideas but mostly paper. Me and a whole lot of us have lots of paper stash. So every month we feature a Use your Stash Bloghop.  This month we are featuring my love affair with  paper.

It seems like all I do is buy, buy, buy and never use. Can you say border line hoarder. Sometimes when I buy paper I just hate to cut into it. I feel that once you cut a piece I feel like I am losing a best friend. My goal is to start opening boxes and folders and pulling out that paper and using it. That is why I am so glad I joined the wonderful group of ladies.

You should be coming from Shirley's blog wasn't her project fabulous? She is also the leader of the pack so if you get lost along the way just go back to her blog and she will put you on the right track.

For my project I pulled out my stash of Later Sk8r paper (X7167B), this is awesome paper for boys or young men or even that older man in your life. I used the following colors of card stock:
Outdoor Denim (1275), Pear (X5764), and Slate (X5930) and Kraft (Z1375). I inked the edges of my Kraft tags with Outdoor Denim Ink (Z2140). I added some Project My Life cards throughout my mini. I also added Epoxy Bubbles (Z1806) in the green and blue assortment and finally the Later Sk8r Assortment. The stamp set I used came from the Later Sk8r WOTG (C1545).

I love mini albums and I made one for this project. I have lots of pictures to put in here once I get them processed. Sorry for all the photos but I wanted to showcase the paper pack. I added a belly band to hold the book closed. I put zipstrips on top and bottom of the band.

I found my inspiration on YouTube on Scrapbook Maven's channel. Here is her tutorial.

Now head on over to  Katy Taylor's blog  and she will show you her love affair with paper. If you have a moment leave some loving at each blog. TFL!

CTMH PAPER FOCUS BLOGHOP

This month we are featuring "Wanderful" paper pack from CTMH. Isn't this paper just yummy! You should be coming from Judy Faye's blog Wow wasn't her project awesome? There are 7 of us participating this month from the Heartfelt Sentiments Team. If you get lost along the way go back to the beginning to Melissa's blog she will get you back on the right track. Please leave some loving at each blog if you have a moment.

Creating layouts are always the hardest thing for me to do. I can crank out cards like crazy but layouts always stump by creativity. My focus this year is to create more layouts and use my new awesome papers from CTMH.

This paper makes me think of young people just leaving home and exploring the world. How awesome would it be to go back in time and take some really cool trips. But I am still "YOUNG ENOUGH" to go on some awesome trips.

My inspiration for the layout came from the Foundational How-To-Publications Scrapbooking Books. I used Reflections (9037) found on page 190.  I used the layout called Title Topper-Add Up found on page 20. I used the following papers to complete my color scheme: Black(1386), Crystal Blue (1292), Flaxen (X5771), Gypsy (X5757), Smoothie (X5763), Honey (X5668) and Canary (X5772). For my bling I used Artisan Studs (Z1816), Pink Glitter Gems (Z1807), Black and Grey Sparkle Gems (Z1754), and Clear Assortment (Z1752). The sticker came from the Journey Sheet (Z2054) on page 166. I used assorted Cricut cartridges to make the plane, train, boat and automobile. The font came from A Child's Year cartridge. I also inked all my edges with Dessert Sand Ink (Z2118).

Now head on over to Marianne's blog to see her awesome take on the Wanderful paper pack (X7191B) found on page 111 of the 2014/2015 Annual Inspiration Catalog.

If you love this paper pack visit me on my CTMH page to see all the other fabulous collections that we have to offer. TFL!
