More flowers

I used the Cricut AP cart and cut out assorted flowers mostly at fit to page. I used some left over papers that I have had in my stash for awhile. I also used the blue assortment buttons Z1371 and this cool bottle that Joy McHargue gave me. I also used some ribbon that I won from "I love ribbons" when they had blog candy giveaway.

Sizzix Flower, Daisies #2

I bought this Sizzix die from my friend Teresa and I came straight home and made this bouquet for a lady friend at work. I used AC patterned paper that I bought on a clearance rack at Michael's. I cut 2 of each petal so each flower has 6 pieces. Joy gave me the bottle after she drank her weird herbal drinks that come in very interesting bottles. I also used some older buttons I had on hand. Origami dresses

I found this on Pinterest under Linda Wentz and she had it posted on her craft idea board. There is a video listed for She gives some pretty clear directions but there are no words. All you need is a 5x5 sheet of paper. I used Lucy for the two outside cards and some other paper for the middle card. I used an older stamp set for the Mother's Day card D1287 May word puzzle and the celebration stamp set that comes with the Cricut AP cart. I used Desert Sand and Cotton Candy ink. TFL!

I also put a piece of Cocoa ribbon on the picture to make it look like it was a 3-D bow. My flowers

I have seen many people posting flower bouquets all over the web, so I decided that I needed to make one for myself. I used the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge for all the flowers. Most of the flowers were cut at 3 3/4 to 4 inches. I used paper that I had bought at Tuesday Morning. I cut the grass using MS scissors. These will be put on my desk to cheer me up everyday. TFL!

Mom & Daughter

This is another photo I took Easter Sunday this one is of my Cousin's wife Cory and their daughter Sophia. I used an assortment of paper and elements. Ever since I have joined the Use Your Stash Blog Hop I have been trying to use items in my stash. It has been a kid in a candy store finding cool things I bought and then put away. It is amazing how much money is spent on scrapbooking items.

I scan the web everyday and get lots of emails on layouts and I also go thru my old CTMH books to get ideas for layouts. I really don't like to measure so I just go for broke. Isn't scrapping all about how we feel? When a photo speaks to me I just start adding and subtracting things. I may not be right but I enjoy it. TFL!

I took this photo on Easter Sunday. This is my second cousin Danielle. She brought her best friend with her to celebrate our family reunion. I used papers from a pad given to me by a lady at work. It is a me & my BIG ideas paperback. I used the Cricut to cut out the letters. I used assorted items I had in my stash. I also wanted to get out of my comfort zone and make a layout with lots of layers and 3-D items. There is no rhyme or reason to this layout but I think it turned out okay. TFL!

Amazing Miya

This is a picture I took of my Cousin's daughter Miya on Easter Sunday. She was so proud of her crown. I love taking close up photos of children. Those innocent faces get me every time. I used Lucy papers from CTMH X7149B, Bitty Sparkles Z1263, Sparkles Flourishes Z1708, Creme Brûlée ink Z2167, Bamboo ink Z2103 and the following stamp sets...April Stamp of the Month S1204, and C1502 Princess Wings. I used black StazOn ink Z888 for the word Amazing. I was trying to get a brick look for the back ground but I didn't like the way it looked so that is why I random stamped the wings. I cut pieces of paper and just made rolled roses for the flowers. My inspiration came from the Wishes Book on page 113 Transfigure. I only used the right side for this one page layout. TFL!

Another Dotty for You Easter layout

I used the Dotty for You paper pack again. I just love the dot side of the two sided paper. I got my inspiration from on older WOTG paperback called Mayberry G1022 as well as the stripease that goes with that pack. I inked the edges with Bamboo ink Z2103, and used stamp set D1259 Eastertime. I also used the blue button assortment Z1371 and Lagoon Baker's twine Z1702, I also used Z1681 Dimensional Elements numbers and an old Marvy Oval punch. TFL!
