BACK TO SCHOOL BANNER
I love making banners and I have made the cricut chirp twice this summer and that was such a great honor. I decided to make this in honor of back to school. My boys are grown up so it was kind of sad not to take the day off to be at school the first day.
April goes back to school
My friend April, who is a single mom has decided to go back to school so I made her this little pencil box and briefcase for some inspiration to do good in school. I found a cute briefcase/laptop bag at Macy's but it cost $88 so this briefcase is $87.99 cheaper. Good luck April and learn lots of good things to help improve your life.
August Stamp class
Our fearless leader Ms. Joy gave us yet another wonderful card class. Your inspiration is wonderful and the colors are great.........I look forward to next month. Sorry I have no idea why the photo turns sideways when it is right side up to begin with. One day I will figure out how to operate a computer...maybe my 9 yr old grandson will teach me.

Cricut Chirp again!
OMG! my swing card banner made the Cricut Chirp. That is twice this summer that I have made the Chirp newsletter. If it wasn't for staying up late at night and getting my inspiration from all the fabulous creative people out there I don't know where I would get my ideas from. So many, many thanks to the talented ladies and men out there who post great ideas on blogspots so people like me can scraplift ideas. I was so excited when I opened my email and saw that I made the Chirp again I almost dropped my laptop in excitement. Thanks to all of you that follow my blog and for all the compliments that you leave for me. I love making things and seeing smiles on peoples faces when they get something from me. If you go down a few postings you can see the swing card banner. Thanks.

Playing with SCAL
Our great and wonderful friend Pam gave me a tuturial on the SCAL and can you believe I learned something..............one I needed a zip program to unzip my files which I did not have and that is why I was going insane and two, how to download them once they are unzipped. Wohoo...Pam you are the "GREATEST". I traced this witch and cut her at 4.25 with CTMH black paper and then put her on pop dots on top of a 1" strip of hydrangea and that on top of citrus leaf. I stamped it in hydrangea and used the stamp set "spooky smiles". TFL!
Carrie's Purses
I made these for a friend named Carrie for her daughter's birthday. I used forever young cricut cart and cut the purses out at 6 1/4. I used paper from HL, for the flowers I used MS wedding ones. Put a little bling and look how cute they are. I scraplifted the idea and almost the same colors from http://memorablecreativities.blogspot.com. I made 10 of them for Carrie

Hanging out with Teresa
My friend and fellow crafter Teresa Jackson hosted a Christmas in July day at her house. We had 7 ladies there and we all taught each other something new. We all had a good time with lunch, make n takes and gift exchange.Teresa was an excellant hostess and she gave each of us an awesome gift bag full of goodies. Here are some of the crafts and cards we made that day. TFL!
Spider
After scapping all day at my friend Teresa's house this is what I came home to. Pretty awesome but scary at the same time.
Swing Card
After watching this on Paperphenomenon's blog I had to try to make one. I followed the directions from splitcoaststampers on how to make the Swing card and Paperphenomenons directions on how to put it together. TFL! I used FY for the scallops and Wall Decor for the cuts. I will be taking this to my work and put it in my cubical.
Mini Monster cards
I made these cards using the Mini Monster cart. So cute and so many cute Halloween cuts on this cart. Thanks for looking. I used CTMH paper for all the cuts.
