It seems like all I do is buy, buy, buy and never use. Can you say border line hoarder. Sometimes when I buy paper I just hate to cut into it. I feel that once you cut a piece I feel like I am losing a best friend. My goal is to start opening boxes and folders and pulling out that paper and using it. That is why I am so glad I joined the wonderful group of ladies.
You should be coming from Shirley's blog wasn't her project fabulous? She is also the leader of the pack so if you get lost along the way just go back to her blog and she will put you on the right track.
For my project I pulled out my stash of Later Sk8r paper (X7167B), this is awesome paper for boys or young men or even that older man in your life. I used the following colors of card stock:
Outdoor Denim (1275), Pear (X5764), and Slate (X5930) and Kraft (Z1375). I inked the edges of my Kraft tags with Outdoor Denim Ink (Z2140). I added some Project My Life cards throughout my mini. I also added Epoxy Bubbles (Z1806) in the green and blue assortment and finally the Later Sk8r Assortment. The stamp set I used came from the Later Sk8r WOTG (C1545).
I love mini albums and I made one for this project. I have lots of pictures to put in here once I get them processed. Sorry for all the photos but I wanted to showcase the paper pack. I added a belly band to hold the book closed. I put zipstrips on top and bottom of the band.
I found my inspiration on YouTube on Scrapbook Maven's channel. Here is her tutorial.
Now head on over to Katy Taylor's blog and she will show you her love affair with paper. If you have a moment leave some loving at each blog. TFL!
So cute and thank you so much for the tutorial.
ReplyDeleteLater Sk8r is probably my all time favorite boy paper, but I loved Skylark, too. This looks so fun. Great way to use up your stash!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful miniscrapbook! Each page is so different yet they all would appeal to boys of all ages. Great job--thanks for the inspiration!
