USE YOUR STASH BLOGHOP

Stash is one thing I have plenty of. This month we are featuring "Mixed Media". This can mean many things to each and everyone of us. I thought about it all month and decided to make a witch hat.

I found this paper mache cone at Michael's on the clearance rack and I immediately thought hat. But before I go into the details of my project you should have come from Casandra's blog . Her mixed media creation was awesome. We only have 6 hoppers this month so leave plenty of love at each one. CTMH has some awesome consultants that participate in bloghops each month. They are all fantastic and month after month we all come up with some great projects.

Once I got started picking out my "mixed media" I almost didn't want to stop. This was a really fun project and being able to do a mixed media project is something that I have been wanting to attempt now I can scratch it off my crafting bucket list.

Here is a long list of items that I used on my hat:
CC1027 FREE TO BE ME PAPER PACK
Z1463 JUST BLOOMS PAPER SHAPES BUTTERFLY
1386 BLACK CARD STOCK
Z2105 BLACK INK

BULK319 METAL FLOWERS ANTIQUED SILVER
Z1821 BUTTON ASSORTMENT BLACK, SLATE,WHISPER

MOD PODGE

Wow all that fit onto that one little hat. I cut a 5" circle for the bottom and mod podged torn pieces of paper all over the hat and then proceeded to add and add all my pieces. I hope I was able to live up to the use of "mixed media" Now that you have seen my project head over to Katy's blog and see what awesome project she made. Thank you all that come and visit our blogs. See you next month.

Now my hat will sit proudly on my mantle until I put out the rest of my Halloween decorations at the end of next month.  TFL!

  1. This turned out so cute! Reading your post tells me I wasn't the only one that was a bit perplexed at first about mixed media. I loved it once I got started. :)
