What are zipstrips? Well zipstrips are 1/2" strips on top of all our B&T Duos papers. Some of us may just cut them off and some of us use them in layouts or on cards. Our challenge this month was to use zipstrips that we usually put to the side. I choose to do a box card. Box cards are the rage right now and they are the cutest cards ever. There are lots of YouTube videos out there on how to make them. My Favorite tutorial came from Splitcoaststampers she does a very good video.
Here is my idea of how to use zipstrips
I used Babycakes paperpack X7173B as well as the Babycakes My Stripease Assortments X7173C for my box card. I also added the Babycakes wood rimmed badge buttons Z1869. I LOVE this paper pack!! I dangled my images with some acetate that I had cut off of a package. You really want to use thicker acetate so it can hold your images up.
The zipstrip that I used featured the word baby and I lined my flaps with this strip. This is my first box card. I will definitely be making another one. Now zip on over to Sheila's blog and see how she used her zipstrips. TFL!
Adorable!
