While searching my many favorite blog spots I found this cute card and decided to try to make it. It was so easy and anyone can do it. I found it at Jan Tinlenberg's blog called http://stampspaperscissors.typepad.com Here is her recipe: she also has a video on her blog.
1-5 1/2 x 8 1/2 base scored at 2 1/8 from each end. 1-3 x 5 1/2 inch pc of cs or ds for the proscenium, 2- 2 x 3 1/4 ps of cs for the curtians and score at 1/2 in. from one short side. You will also need the a scallop circle punch, a 1 3/8 circle punch and a 1 3/8 square punch. You can find this on her August 29, 2009 post. TFL!Monday, July 26, 2010
Second cut using the SCAL
Wohoo I finally made something with my SCAL program. I made a name tag for my cubical but I have no idea what size I made it. I also added the shadow feature. Not very impressive but it is a start. I used some paper I had laying around and MS punch for the butterfly and used SU scallop punch for the flowers. I cut the shapes for the flowers with an old phone book I had laying around. You have to put a piece of card stock down first and then you can cut three flowers at one time. TFL!

Softball player
My friend Denise asked if I could make her some softball girls for her daughter's end of the year party so this is what I came up with. I used EDPD and cut the girls out at 5". I used CTMH paper and a new paper called coordinations when you rub it with sand paper the color comes thru. Pretty cool huh? I hope all the girls like their little players

SURE CUTS ALOT
Okay so I bought the scal last week cause I heard so many cool things about it and have seen what it can do in person.....OMG! talk about feeling dumb. I know nothing and was getting very frustrated and screaming and cussing(sorry Adam) and just going crazy. Well needless to say after watching a few videos I figured out how to use the trace function and finally was able to save something. I think I sprouted up a million gray hairs in the process. This is what I saved and cut out. I think I cut it at 4 inches and used HL paper and CTMH inks for the edges. Maybe some nice ladies like Pam and Mel(hint, hint) will help me figure this program out before they admit me into Rusk State Hospital. Thanks for looking. I have to go spit the soap out of my mouth for all the cussing I did.
